I met Heidi way back in 2017 when she was a bridesmaid. I’ve photographed many of her friend’s weddings, and I’m delighted she chose me to document her big day as well. The couple was very kind, and I enjoyed taking photos during their Sechelt wedding. Each portrait I took of them was so wonderfully natural. Plus, you can see how genuinely happy everyone was to witness them unite in love in such a majestic place.

When it comes to their ceremony, they chose a woodland setting. At the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden wedding venue, you can select any spot to host your celebration. After all, it’s a 16-hectare property! Since every area is stunning, the only boundary is your imagination. With such a wide area, you can opt to get married on a covered terrace or semi-covered seating at the Botanical Garden. No need to splurge on decors because of their lovely foliage, flowers, and plants surrounding you. Also, you can have an outdoor wedding surrounded by towering trees. Saying their vows in nature and under a branch-designed arch with a unique floral decor looked like a scene from a fairytale. Everything about their venue radiated so much romance. The fact that the estate is in a remote area with a natural environment, had contributed to achieving such an ambiance. It was like the couple suddenly entered a whole other world. Of course, I couldn’t help but take intimate photos of them exploring several pathways through the meadows.
