Despite the delay in Felix and Wendy’s celebration due to Covid, their Langley backyard wedding was one for the books. Although they didn’t follow their original plans, they still managed to pull off an iconic event, being surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was the perfect size for the couple to be present at the moment and make everyone feel valued!

As always, I love learning and sharing more about my couples and their stories. Felix and Wendy first met at an Alice and Wonderland junior play in high school – how sweet is that? They were both backstage when Felix, who was playing the March Hare, started to make his move toward Wendy, who was helping with the tech. Nervously, he flirted over the headset and what do you know? Nine years or so later here we are.

From the very start, they were both attracted to each other’s personalities and physical attributes. And although they had to take two years apart to mature, this resulted in a more loving, trusting, and supportive partnership between them. Seven years later, they united their love with this lovely celebration, curated with the help of Maureen from Emerald Events wedding planning.

Their beautiful Langley Farm wedding had a cozy and stunning ambiance to it. It is Wendy’s parent’s home and the absolutely perfect spot for a wedding. Nature surrounded them, and the marvelous sunset graced their celebration. Moreso, their Langley backyard wedding reception happened inside a charming tent decorated with bistro lights. It was magical! Everyone had a great time with a live band and delicious food from the Tacofino Food Truck. It was our greatest pleasure to be a part of their special day!
