It is not every day that you get to marry your high school sweetheart, so it’s heartwarming to see couples like Shane and Daniella tie the knot after being together for so long! Their classic love story started at Notre Dame High School when they first met in their Gr. 8 homeroom class. Fast forward 12 years later, they finally have their happily ever after with a classic Glenburn Soda Fountain wedding, which I had the honor to photograph.

Despite all the delays because of COVID, their celebration of love was incredible in every way. From their ceremony at St. Helen’s Parish wedding to their reception at the Riverway Clubhouse wedding venue, each moment they shared radiated joy and endearment. I can see such feelings throughout the day, and it was clear on the same-day slideshow I made for them. I don’t provide this service as often anymore, but since our lovely couple requested one, I was more than happy to oblige!

The couple’s ceremony happened in St. Helen’s parish. Their St. Helen’s Parish wedding marriage ceremony was solemn and intimate, attended by their closest family and friends who were delighted to witness this iconic moment. It was nice to capture everyone doing their part on this holy sacrament. After their union, we proceeded to the Glenburn Soda Fountain, which is a really cool retro place. We had a little in-between shoot, where the couple shared a soda drink in this very special place for the couple. It was such a cute moment to capture as it somehow signifies the youth they both experienced together. We are grateful to the Glenburn Soda Fountain for making this happen by opening up early for us to take amazing photos.

Their Riverway wedding reception reflected so much more about the couple. The similarities in their personalities are evident in the choice of decor. Their love for sports, travel, new adventures, and date nights can be seen in the displayed photos for guests to view during their Riverway Clubhouse wedding. Everyone had so much fun during the reception – everything went smoothly, all thanks to their fantastic wedding planner Newsha from Do It Simpli.
