Despite a COVID-induced delay in Ben and Deb’s special day, not once did their kind and caring nature falter. They were kind enough to make sure to connect with me before changing the date of their wedding, and I was blown away by their positivity throughout the whole process. Their infectious smiles and endless enthusiasm resonated throughout the day and had a compelling effect on all the guests in attendance.
It was an absolute pleasure getting to know Ben and Deb throughout this event. After being together for 14 years, their relationship was nothing short of magical and it was clear how they both constantly support and challenge each other. When I asked what drew them together, Ben confessed “Deb was honest, genuine, and easy to be around”, which was visible during the course of the event through their shared kindness and laughter.
The venue for Ben and Deb’s Furry Creek Golf Course wedding was breath-taking. The rolling mountains of British Colombia painted the perfect backdrop for this romantic union, and I was able to capture some beautiful shots from the golf courses luscious greens. The ceremony took place in an exquisitely designed wooden room, filled with natural light, accompanied by a simple, yet elegant assortment of white chairs and a flower-lined aisle.
Regardless of the fact that the number of guests was reduced by half, this wedding was truly one of beauty. From the party getting ready to the lively reception, the photographs I managed to catch of Ben and Deb’s Furry Creek Golf Course wedding were crowded with smiles and laughter – a true reflection of their compassion and positivity.
