I love getting to meet so many wonderful people as part of my job, but the only thing that might compare to how awesome that privilege is? The stunning wedding venues I get to photograph them in! British Columbia has such an incredible variety of intimate and jaw-dropping locations, so I thought I’d share some of my favorites Vancouver Wedding Venues from in and around the city. These are all venues I’ve had the chance to photograph and you really are spoiled you for choice if you’re planning a wedding of your own in BC!

Winding Willow Farm

Timelessly rustic and picturesque, you couldn’t find a better venue than Winding Willow Farm for that ultimate balance between formal and relaxed. It’s particularly ideal for being styled as simply or luxuriously as you like without losing any of that heartfelt feeling.

Big Sky Golf Club (Pemberton)

With multiple ceremony sites to choose from and Mount Currie casually in the background, Big Sky is a clear winner in the awe-inspiring category, and you can’t go past the clubhouse if you’re after that rustic yet elegant vibe.

Hycroft Manor

Speaking of elegance, Hycroft Manor is about as classic as the venue’s come: the sweeping staircases, the magnificent pillars, the lush heritage gardens… Most importantly, it somehow manages to balance all the positively royal grandeur with a sense of intimacy.

Pinnacle At The Pier

You’ve only got to glance at the waterfront views to understand why Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier is so in demand for weddings. The venue in general gives off a boutique feel, and the surrounding parks and shipyard are a photographer’s dream.

Grouse Mountain

There’s no other word to describe this venue other than magical. Plus it’s magic you can scale, since the facilities mean you can enjoy the views of the alpine peaks, and far away twinkling city lights in gatherings as small or as big as you like – up to 500+ people!

Cheakamus Centre (Squamish)

If you’d rather switch mountains for a forest canopy, this could be your ideal venue. Located on a 165-hectare ecological reserve, there’s no shortage of natural decor, and the center itself is a homage to all things modern than can still compliment a green setting.

Pipe Shop Venue

If the call of the shipyards is still strong for you, the Pipe Shop Venue has got the heritage, industrial aesthetic in spades. Not to mention an abundance of natural lighting and the impressive exposed woodwork, all restored to perfection.

These are just a handful of BC’s brilliant wedding venue offerings – you can check out all the gorgeous locations (and couples) I’ve been lucky enough to photograph in my other blogs!
