Jen and Connor’s The Loft at Earl’s wedding in Yaletown, Vancouver, was an incredible day to photograph. Surrounded by the historic charm of the neighborhood—with its exposed brick, cobblestone streets, and lively atmosphere—the celebration was filled with elegance, laughter, and unforgettable memories. This wedding was especially meaningful to me because it was my third time capturing a wedding in Jen’s family. I also had the honor of photographing her sisters Ally’s and Katie’s weddings, and being welcomed back once again made me feel like part of the family. It’s a rare gift to document so many milestones for one family, and it’s something I’ll always treasure.

The Loft at Earl’s provided the perfect venue and catering for Jen and Connor’s day, seamlessly blending modern style with Yaletown’s historic character. Jen looked stunning in her gown from Park & Fifth, and her look was beautifully complemented by Ally’s hairstyling and Makeup By Laurel’s artistry. The florals, designed by Alex Watson from Fresh Street Market, added a fresh and romantic touch, while DJ Cory from Musos Entertainment kept the dance floor full well into the night. Every detail came together to make their The Loft at Earl’s wedding both stylish and heartfelt.

Looking back, I feel so grateful to have been part of this incredible celebration. Capturing Jen and Connor’s The Loft at Earl’s wedding wasn’t just about photographing one beautiful day—it was about documenting a legacy of love within a family I’ve come to know and admire. Each time I’ve been welcomed to photograph Ally, Katie, and now Jen’s weddings, it has been a reminder of why I love this work: to tell stories that connect families across generations and preserve memories for years to come.
