When it comes to tying the knot in a fashion both smooth and suave, Golden Eagle Golf Club has you covered. A buffet of options are available for optimal customization, and a wedding planner expertly qualified in navigating these options is included in the price of booking.

Wedding Reception Details from Golden Eagle Golf Course

The options begin with a ceremony only or ceremony plus reception booking. Smallest outdoor ceremonies accommodate up to 100 guests, and the largest package accommodates up to 200. Luxuriant greenery stretches into a beautiful backdrop of Canadian peaks behind these outdoor ceremonies, which will be sheltered by a pair of 20’ by 20’ tents. If restricted to indoor venues due to weather (read winter), the club provides a choice between two rooms. The more intimate space can hold 60 guests; the slightly larger space, 100 guests.

Couples who decide to also use the club for their reception will be provided with a range of appetizer options and additions such as a poutine bar, champagne tower, and chocolate fountain. For the main course, three different buffet levels are available, as well as the ability to create a customized menu. Bartender, service and kitchen staff, linens, plates, and cutlery are all included. Those looking to add a little pizazz to the basic white linen provided can browse the decor add-on options, which include a variety of chair covers, sashes, table runners, vases, etc. Those looking to add a lot of pizazz to their big day might consider springing for a helicopter.

Golden Eagle Golf Club will pick you up and fly you into your ceremony for the grandest of entrances, or, if grand exits are more your style, the club will arrange for the ‘copter to be ready post-ceremony to whisk you and your dearly beloved away. After a fifteen minute flight, a casual half-hour mountain-top photo session, and a fifteen minute return flight, the reception area should be just about ready for a party.

PROS

– A full staff who is expertly acquainted with the venue, including the wedding planner, is provided with a booking, making for a seamless, low-stress experience. Specifically, Lorea is fantastic!
– The grounds of the club itself are delightfully green and gorgeous.
– One word: helicopter.
– Not only is the helicopter an option, but the mountain-top stop-off makes for stunning photos and a serene spot for reveling in your freshly committed love before diving into a reception.

CONS

– Winter weddings will have to be small, and it’s worth noting that the guest accommodation numbers (60 or 100) include standing in addition to sitting room.
– The club reserves the right to book multiple events in one day, not to mention it will remain open to its regular members, so you’ll may have to share the space.

BOTTOM LINE:
Golden Eagle skillfully crafts a polished wedding with a planning process designed for minimum stress. Sophisticated and sleek, with a possible dash of flash, plus a smorgasbord of options and add-ons; if any and all of this sounds good to you, Golden Eagle might just be your perfect match.
