Whoa! What a crazy whirlwind this shoot was. I first got an email from The rain was threatening the entire time, but both Thomas and Megan are troopers so they just said “Let’s go for it!”. Rushing out to the beach on a rainy day usually isn’t my first instinct, but as it happens, this time it was definitely worth the drive!
Their energy was infectious and when Thomas asked if we could do some vintage 1966 VW bus engagement photos and I couldn’t say no to that! As I got to know them a little bit I found out that he was from Canada (close to where my wife grew up) and she was from California. They both met while attending school in Germany of all places and now they’re going to be starting their own cross borders story together. Why is it my favourite couples always seem to be an American/Canadian combo? So happy with the shots we got with these two crazy kids. One of my favourite engagement sessions of the year for sure!
